What we do

Four services. One pass at a time.

You buy the hectares, not the aircraft. Our pilots, our drones, your fields, and every flight logged by field, product, rate and date.

An ABZ drone spraying over rows of green crop

Service 01

Drone spraying

Flown with
L30 V2 · L50
When
From pre-emergence through full canopy, on the crop calendar.
Close-up of an ABZ rotary-disc spray nozzle in operation

Spraying by drone replaces the knapsack crew and the tractor pass. The aircraft flies a planned route over the field at low height, and the controlled droplet application system that ABZ builds into every aircraft meters droplet size and flow so the product lands on the leaf rather than drifting or running off.

ABZ reports that its system uses up to 90% less water and up to 50% less plant-protection product than ground spraying of the same field. For a farm that means fewer trips to refill, less product bought, and no one walking through a freshly treated crop.

The L30 V2 carries 30 litres and covers about 21 hectares an hour; the L50 carries 50 litres and covers about 24. We match the aircraft to the field and the product to the growth stage set by the agronomist.

What you get

  • A field visit and a plan: crop, growth stage, product, rate and the date window.
  • Application by our pilots with the aircraft matched to the field.
  • A flight record per field: hectares covered, product, rate, time and conditions.
  • A follow-up check so the next pass goes where it is needed.

Service 02

Spreading and seeding

Flown with
S50 · S20 · L50 spreading system
When
Top-dressing and seeding windows, and whenever the ground will not take a tractor.
An ABZ spreading drone releasing granules over grass

The S50 is a purpose-built spreader: a 50 litre hopper, a distribution rate of up to 1,100 kilograms an hour, and a spread width of 4 to 9 metres with granules from 0.5 to 6 millimetres. The L50 takes a 70 litre spreading system in place of its spray tank, so one aircraft can spray one week and top-dress the next.

Spreading by air is most useful exactly when the ground is least welcoming: after heavy rain, on steep or broken ground, or once a crop is established and a tractor would damage the stand. Top-dressing, cover crop and rice seeding are the common jobs.

What you get

  • A spread plan with the rate per hectare and the swath set for your granule.
  • Application with the S50 or the L50 spreading system.
  • A record per field of what went on, at what rate, and when.

Service 03

Mapping and monitoring

Flown with
Survey drone · field team
When
Before the season, and between passes.
An ABZ drone hovering over a green landscape

A survey flight before the season gives you the true boundary and area of each field, which is the number every rate, quote and record is built on. During the season, follow-up flights show where the crop is thin, stressed or under attack so treatment goes to the patch and not the whole farm.

Mapping flights use a camera drone; application flights use the ABZ aircraft. Both feed the same field record.

What you get

  • A measured boundary and area for each field.
  • A map of crop stand and problem patches at the dates you choose.
  • The field record that the spraying and spreading passes are logged against.

Service 04

Season support

Flown with
Field team · agronomist
When
The whole season, from land preparation to harvest.
Overhead view of an ABZ L50 drone passing over rows of crop

A drone pass is only as good as the decision behind it. Season support puts an agronomist on the plan: which product, at which growth stage, at which rate, and what to look for afterwards. Inputs can be sourced through us or supplied by you.

Every visit and every flight goes into one record for the season. At harvest you hold a document that shows what was done to each field and when, which is what a buyer, an insurer or a lender asks for.

What you get

  • A season plan per field, agreed before the first flight.
  • Agronomy visits between flights.
  • A single season record: visits, flights, products, rates and dates.

Quoted per field, after a visit.

Every quote is built on a measured area, the crop, the product and the number of passes. Tell us where the fields are and what you are growing, and we will come and look.
